We are looking for an individual with a track record in performance analysis or scouting recruitment analysis and a passion for making a difference to join our Liverpool FC team as a Scouting and Recruitment Analyst.

What will you be doing?

  • Creation of bespoke video analysis projects on players to supplement the current scouting process.
  • Using annotational software to add detail to videos created.
  • Manage content created in an accessible format online to be shared with key staff.
  • Responsibility to scout and produce content on players from specific countries, including written reports.
  • Support members of staff in the use of technology to aid the scouting process.
  • Drive innovation within your own role and the department, alongside your key duties.
  • Using data available to the department to complement the process of live and video scouting.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will be degree educated or equivalent in either performance analysis, sports coaching, coaching science or sports science. You will ideally have a proven record within performance analysis and/or scouting recruitment analysis with the ability to demonstrate your impact in a scouting or player development setting from previous roles. You will be experienced in using analytical software to profile, analyse and showcase players and will have a good knowledge of football with regards to player pathways, player development, talent acquisition and game styles. You will be proficient in tools such as MS office, apple applications or any additional visualisation platforms.

You’ll be open minded and have a solution-based approach to your work together with a high level of individual initiative to make a positive impact within the department. With your thirst for learning, you develop yourself and as well as others and continually seek to improve. You’ll have a passion for positive working culture and will be results driven. Due to the nature of the role, you will be able to work flexibly with the ability to adjust your work schedule at short notice. You will be humble, eager to develop and are able to work consistently to high standards as part of a team.
