If you answered "Yes" to both of these questions, your search comes to an end with this wonderful opportunity to join as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton Science Graduate Teaching Assistant £75 - £85 per day Immediate start until July 2024 ‘GOOD’ secondary school located in Wolverhampton. Providing 1:1 and small-group support for KS3 and KS4 students in science. As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers to strengthen academic performance and attainment levels in science and to support underachieving KS3 and KS4 students.
You'll be indispensable to the scientific division. You must possess a science degree with a minimum GPA of 2:2 in order to be successful in this role as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant. To help create an engaging learning environment where inquiry is encouraged, you should also naturally be creative and energetic.
These qualities should be fuelled by a strong desire to become a teacher and the numerous opportunities that await you in this field. Working with students of different abilities, from high achievers to those with SEN needs, such as Autism, ADHD, EBD, and other cognitive challenges, is what a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant does. At KS3 and KS4, you will work in all three science topics (physics, chemistry, and biology).
As such, it is your responsibility to stay up to date in each of these subjects so that you can offer tailored help both inside and outside of the classroom. You will receive free on-site training from senior leaders with extensive experience as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant.
