We are seeking a Sales Office Administrator to join our team onsite in Stockport. This job is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales office team.

Sales Administrator
Stockport
We are seeking a Sales Office Administrator to join our team onsite in Stockport. This job is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales office team.
Our Stockport site is a state-of-the-art R&D and manufacturing facility, dedicated to the production of laser and precision.

- Administration of all aspects of the sales process including:
- Sales Order Processing (SOP).
- Requesting credit sign from Finance.
- Preparation of customer order acknowledgments.
- Updating and maintaining customer information.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and information is collated for smooth shipment of orders.
- Advising customers of shipment information (tracking etc).
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
- Administration of all aspects of the service returns process including:
- Raising Return Material Authorisation (RMA) documentation.
- Providing service quotes to customers.
- Processing service return paperwork.
- Processing of service purchase orders.
- Administration relating to demonstration lasers including:
- Maintaining demo laser log records.
- Scheduling demo laser shipments and liaising with other staff as appropriate.
- Preparing customer demo request forms and ensuring prompt return.
- To work collaboratively with the Commercial and Operations departments to ensure smooth process from Purchase request to order fulfilment.
- Maintain strict compliance with the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety regulations and implementation of the instructions of the quality, environmental management and/or occupational health and safety officer.
- Proven track record of administrative excellence.
- Previous experience of working in a sales environment is deemed advantageous.
- Previous reception/front of house experience.
- Previous experience within the hi-tech sector (desirable).
- Strong IT skills (MS Office).
- Knowledge of Sage ERP software (desirable).
- Knowledge of SAP ERP Software (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively work as part of a team.
