The Sales Director for our Major Accounts will grow profit and revenue, through sales leadership and the strategic development of TD SYNNEX internal sales resource within our 18 most strategic accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver set sales goals through leading and motivating a team of 6 direct reports and 16 indirect reports.
  • Develop sales strategies in conjunction with the Group Sales Director and Business Leaders.
  • Develop the annual plan aligned with the company strategic initiatives and fiscal goals.
  • Provide executive updates on the plan and insight to market, customer and competitor activities.
  • Provide accurate weekly forecast including key pipeline and risk mitigation plans.
  • Recruitment, management and retention of key staff to achieve the plan.
  • Creating a winning culture by motivating, coaching and developing the team, ensuring they have the required level of skills and knowledge to perform against their roles and responsibilities.
  • Understand sales process and ensure principles are implemented throughout team(s). Maintain rigour of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Fiscal attainment.
  • Maintain close relationships with senior stakeholders in key customers and vendors and influence internal stakeholders to ensure the company maintains its outstanding service levels.
  • Strategically collaborate with TD SYNNEX Business Units to drive incremental growth, win new business opportunities and maintain partner relevance.
  • Drive business growth through effective route to market strategies and key market influencers.
  • Work proactively to realise incremental business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Marketing teams to optimise the Divisional Value Proposition.
  • Engage in and drive strategic insights for a high-impact Sales Transformation project, playing a key role in implementation and rollout.
  • Actively participate in the company leadership team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Strong sales leader and performance manager.
  • Strong communication, motivation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence at board level in TD SYNNEX and its largest customers.
  • 5-10 years business to business experience with a strong track record of achieving results.
  • 5 years sales management experience.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Numerate and analytical.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Coaching and people development techniques and systems.
