About The Role

As a Sales Advisor you’ll be the first point of contact for customers both trade and retail looking to purchase car parts and accessories. Your role will involve advising on parts, processing orders, checking availability, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve retail and trade customers in person, by phone, and via email
  • Identify correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems
  • Prepare quotes, check stock availability, and process orders efficiently
  • Up-sell related products, accessories, and special offers where appropriate
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to source non-stocked items
  • Support the warehouse with parts requests and timely supply
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, backorders, and special requests
  • Help with stock checks, stock rotation, and general housekeeping
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Ensure all documentation and systems are updated accurately
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor or Sales Advisor is preferred but not essential
  • Good knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and components is preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident IT skills
  • Familiarity with dealer or parts systems would be advantageous
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
