We are looking for a Road Logistics Invoicing and Admin Team Leader to strengthen our team!
Your Role
The primary responsibility is to ensure that all Road Groupage FSL files are accurately closed within the month for proper GP reporting. This includes ensuring that all E-bills and purchase invoices are properly acknowledged and accrued, along with addressing any other finance-related aspects of each FSL file. The role involves identifying discrepancies and loss-making files through detailed reporting. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all policies and procedures issued by Head Office, making sure that all Road Staff adhere to financial guidelines related to the FSL.

Your Role

Your Responsibilities
- Control of the Road FSL Files.
- Control of the E-bills & Purchase invoice procedures for Road groupage files.
- Manage team by way of regular meetings identify areas of concern in respect of Groupage / Transport to enable meetings with Manager to ensure all Company Policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Working to strict time lines in respect of FSL monthly closure.
- Providing a support system for road groupage Market Managers in respect of Finance.
- Identify any anomalies within the FSL files and highlight files to Manager by way of completion of variance report on
- Monthly basis. Ensure all large variance are checked prior closure of FSL by deadline of 3pm and investigated on last working day of FSL closure.
- Complete and be involved in any other identified tasks as instructed by Manager – e.g. system testing, additional reporting, HR matters and meetings.
- Experience in leading or supervising teams is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a strong understanding of its advanced features.
- Prior experience in freight logistics is preferred.
- Familiarity with customs procedures is a valuable asset.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive with a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
