The role of a relief CCTV operator will be to be trained at both JLR EPMC WV9 5GA and JLR Mercia park DE12 8AA, working as cover for annual leave and sickness. This role may include short notice cover and will not guarantee hours every week. In addition, you would join the wider relief team across the midlands area.

- At least 18 years old - licence requirement by the Security Industry Authority.
- Punctual, dependable, flexible, and assured.
We’re looking for people who have
- A Valid CCTV License (or equivalent certification).
- Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to react quickly and appropriately to incidents.
- Familiarity with CCTV technology and control room operations.
- Proficient in using computer systems and security software.
Your core responsibilities will include
- Monitoring live CCTV feeds and detecting any suspicious activities or security breaches in real-time.
- Operating and maintaining control room equipment while adhering to all operational protocols.
- Recording and documenting incidents as they occur, preparing detailed reports for further investigation.
- Communicating effectively with security personnel, coordinating responses to incidents as required.
- Assisting in the control and review of security operations and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the CCTV system to ensure optimal performance.
- Responding promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring communication is relayed to the appropriate authorities.
- Provide support and training to new team members as needed.
