Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) looking for a rewarding and flexible role in Warrington? We are seeking experienced nurses to support a specialist mental health service providing care for adults with acute, complex, and forensic mental health needs in a secure hospital setting.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work within a highly structured and therapeutic environment, supporting individuals with enduring mental health conditions, personality disorders, and forensic histories. This service offers both acute and rehabilitation pathways, ensuring person-centred care that supports recovery, stability, and reintegration into the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, recovery-focused care in a secure hospital environment
  • Support individuals with complex mental health and forensic needs
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of clinical care
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, following safeguarding and risk management protocols

Requirements

  • NMC registration as an RMN or RNLD
  • Experience in secure mental health, forensic, or secure hospital settings
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Strong communication and risk management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid PMVA training (if training not held, can be provided)
  • Valid ILS training (if training not held, can be provided)
  • Right to work in the UK, without the need for sp0ns0rship
  • Administer medication and monitor patient progress
