Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join our Facilities team at Hope wood park Hospital.

This post will be offered at 10 hours per week Monday and Tuesday, working on a rota to cover a 7 day service including public holidays. You will also be asked to help to cover for sickness and annual leave.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a pro-active, effective and efficient comprehensive receptionist/admin service ensuring high quality and timely communications.
  • To greet patient’s staff and visitors who come to the reception desk and provide information and assistance where appropriate
  • To arrange taxi transport via online booking system for wards and departments in the South sector of the Trust.
  • Dealing with patients and members of the public both face to face and over the telephone who are distressed or agitated.
  • Use of the Oracle system for processing orders/invoices
