We seek a Receptionist who embodies a cheerful demeanour and can create a welcoming first impression for Softcat. A Receptionist is a cultural ‘ambassador' who lives and promotes Softcat values every day. They always offer excellent customer service and create a great place to work or visit for employees and guests alike. This is an onsite role based in our office in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

As a Receptionist you'll be responsible for:

• Reception Duties such as front of house, customer, guest and vendor greeting and always ensuring a welcoming reception area.
• Event Support and Experience: Assisting local departments and partners with delivering fantastic, engaging, employee focused events.
• Support delivery of FM-related operational activities working in partnership with third-party service providers and in-house teams to meet the business and occupancy needs.
• Assist the Workplace manager with the delivery of hard services i.e., HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical. Facilitate and undertake ad-hoc daily event requests by local departments.
• Ensure Fire Warden, First Aid and Manual Handling lists etc; are up to date and adequate cover is maintained. Ensure signage is correct, compliant, and updated i.e., Fire, maintenance, etc,

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively through Microsoft Office suite
• Highly organised and resourceful
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
