To be successful as a Quality Assurance Analyst you should

Have Experience With


  • End-to-End Test Strategy for Authentication Journeys (Ability to design and execute test plans for complex Authentication workflows including SSO, MFA, device binding and biometric auth, covering both functional and non-functional aspects (performance, security).
  • Automation Expertise with Coverage & Mutation Focus (Proven skills in UI/API automation frameworks with emphasis on achieving coverage, mutation test strength and reducing regression time across digital platform (iOS, Android, APIs, Multi Channel Authentication).
  • Security and Compliance Testing Awareness, deep understanding of security risks related to identity and access management including vulnerability validation for data masking, encryption and authentication failures).


Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include


  • Test Data Management & Service Virtualization (Experience with Service Virtualization tools to simulate third party APIs (Onfido, Equifax, FraudNet) and creating reusable, compliant test data sets).
  • CI/CD & DevSecOps Alignment (Understanding of integration pipelines, role in quality gates (Sonar, mutation testing) and supporting team with deployment readiness metrics (stability, defect leak rate).
  • Monitoring & Dashboarding Familiarity, building or interpreting AppDynamics and ELK dashboards and identifying issues through real-time failure alerts.

The location of this role is based in Knutsford, United Kingdom.

Purpose of the role

To assess and uplift the quality of BIA’s assurance and operational practices.

Accountabilities


  • Identification and targeting of areas of risk; contributing to the development of a risk based plan the QA.
  • Assessment of the quality of assurance and the effectiveness of operational practices in line with QA’s plan and requirements in an insightful and timely manner.
  • Collaboration and relationships development with stakeholders to develop quality initiatives, and action plans to monitor performance, improve business areas and govern operations.
  • Communication of results and recommendations, both written and verbal.
  • Identification of trends (internal and external) related to quality assurance and monitor compliance to regulatory standards and QA’s section of the audit charter.
