What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll help shape, implement and continually improve the quality assurance arrangements that ensure Hinkley Point A remains fully compliant with company policies, ISO standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll maintain key documentation, support certification activities and help deliver an effective audit programme that monitors performance across the site. Working closely with project teams, you’ll provide technical guidance, identify areas for improvement and play an active role in promoting high standards of quality throughout daily operations.
You’ll also contribute to wider assurance activities, reviewing site performance, monitoring compliance with standards and taking action where improvements are needed. Your support will help drive consistency, reinforce good practice and strengthen the site’s overall quality culture.
Key aspects of your role will include:
You’ll bring a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and proven knowledge of key ISO standards; including 9001, 14001, 45001 and 55001. With experience working with management systems and an awareness of the legislation and stakeholders involved in nuclear decommissioning, you’ll be confident influencing people from diverse groups and providing clear, practical guidance. You’ll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, values accuracy and brings a proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.
To succeed, you’ll need to be educated to NQF Level 5 (or equivalent) and hold a certificate in Environmental Management, Safety or Quality. You’ll combine technical knowledge with strong communication skills, enabling you to support audits, review performance and help drive continuous improvement across the site.

- Monitoring quality performance, identifying improvements and providing technical advice to support compliant implementation.
- Championing full adherence to company policies while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.
