XAD Technologies LTD is a leading provider of innovative fixed network solutions for businesses across the UK. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Slough.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our fixed network projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and vendors, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage design, planning, installation and maintenance of civil works, cable Laying and associated works for deploying long Haul, FTTH/FTTX, FDH, Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) for all fixed network projects.
  • Implementation of all projects SOW, SLA, KPIs and preparation and implementation of Resources Plan, budget, business plan, Project implementation plans, risk assessment, plans, contingencies and projects delivery plans.
  • lead Project Management Department and ensure proper planning, implementation, monitoring and successful delivery of projects upto client expectations.
  • Administers the project plan and ensures delivery of multiple FTTP projects to time, cost and quality in a safe and compliant way.
  • Client management - including Tier 1 Contractors, Local Authorities.
  • Identifies and manages the critical path for build
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders
  • Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to management
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Monitor and track project expenses to ensure they stay within budget
  • Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts in a timely manner
  • Prepare and present project reports to management and clients
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications industry within UK
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
  • PMP certification is a plus
