Job Description

Based at our Cyber Centre of Excellence in Maidenhead - hybrid working is available.

At Ultra I&C's Cyber business, we protect highly sensitive information, working with nations worldwide to help ensure their information is secure as possible. Our engineers work on the most difficult cybersecurity challenges to protect our national security and critical infrastructure; we strive to protect what matters.

As Project Manager, you will work with specialists from a range of engineering disciplines, providing project management expertise to deliver projects and bids on time, to budget and to the required standard.

All applicants must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple Projects ranging in size up to ~£10m
  • Managing projects to meet the required financial and project constraints.
  • Establishing, controlling and reporting project schedule & costs against an overall WBS & budget.
  • Achieving acceptance of all elements of projects to schedule and cost.
  • Accurately forecasting project cost, cash & resource demands

Required Skills And Experience

  • Experienced in project management, specifically in setting up, running and successfully delivering projects.
  • Experienced in managing and deliver multi-disciplined projects in a matrix structure.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office including MS Project.
  • Possesses a Project Management qualification (preferred)
  • Excellent general written and verbal communications skills.
  • Willing to undergo, and are able to achieve and maintain, SC and/or DV security clearance.

Due to the nature of the programs we deliver for our customers, candidates may need to obtain the relevant security clearance or handle export-controlled material as defined by the role's requirements. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance for the role. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
