  • Lead project teams to deliver agreed outcomes, assigning and coordinating work to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
  • Select and apply appropriate project management methods, controls and governance arrangements to suit the project context and lifecycle.
  • Manage project progress against baseline plans, taking corrective action where needed and escalating where delivery objectives are at risk.
  • Actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change control processes, ensuring timely review and decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality project documentation and reporting, including status reports, governance packs, financial updates, forecasts and decision logs.
  • Build effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, managing expectations and supporting strong delivery performance.
  • Manage project finances, including budget tracking, forecasting, purchase activity and support to commercial and procurement processes where required.
  • Lead project meetings, reviews and governance forums, ensuring clear actions, decisions and reporting are maintained.
  • Ensure project artefacts and deliverables comply with organisational standards, governance requirements and Roke’s QMS.
  • Support bid and mobilisation activity by contributing project management input to estimates, plans, risk assessments and delivery approaches.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activity, lessons learned, and the development of project management capability across the function.
  • Provide support, guidance and day-to-day direction to junior project staff and team members where appropriate.
