Reporting to: UK Head of Engineering

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Project Engineer, you’ll:

  • Coordinate and deliver capital investment (CapEx) projects across UK manufacturing sites
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and operational teams to understand site needs and develop practical solutions
  • Support the development of project scopes, technical specifications, and supplier selection
  • Engage and manage OEMs, contractors, and suppliers throughout project delivery
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and timelines, escalating issues where needed
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines engineering understanding with a strong project mindset. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in an engineering or project-based role within a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to capital projects such as new equipment installation, modifications, or upgrades
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
  • A structured, organised approach to planning and problem-solving
  • Good awareness of health and safety requirements in an industrial setting
  • A degree in Engineering (or a related discipline) is preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
