RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator - Vendor Field Services to join its office in Sunderland within the Energy Procurement Solutions Division.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the coordination of procurement support services such as vendor inspection, expediting, and other second- and third-party activities at supplier locations globally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management:
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of field services projects.
  • Identify, select, and assign qualified personnel to fulfil client requests efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Ensure all project requirements are met with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and vendors.
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication to manage expectations and provide regular project updates.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience & Education:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or coordination role—experience in engineering, inspection, or procurement sectors is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, candidates with relevant professional experience in administrative or coordination roles will be considered.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise short-term tasks while keeping long-term goals on track
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and lead
  • Team player with leadership potential
  • Results-oriented and committed to high standards of customer service
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of field services, vendor inspection or procurement support is a plus
