ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Programme Tutor in Health and Social Care, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment that enables students to achieve their full potential. You’ll create an inclusive and engaging environment, supporting all learners, including those with SEND, to progress and succeed. You’ll contribute to maintaining high standards across the curriculum while supporting the College’s commitment to empowering potential and achieving success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with curriculum requirements
  • Plan inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including SEND
  • Monitor student progress, attendance and engagement, taking action where needed
  • Provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support achievement
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
  • Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support learners
