Description

Amazon is currently looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking and analytical Program Manager - Carrier Management to join the Global Logistics Exports team. Global Logistics team is dedicated to building, managing and operating a worldwide logistics network that enables B2C cross borders shipments from anywhere in the world and delivers to customer anywhere in the world, cost effectively

The role represents a critical function with Global Logistics to continuously improve the service levels, capacities, and costs of our logistics service providers to ensure promises to the customers are being maintained.

Position is open for both London or Luxembourg locations

Key job responsibilities

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with the 3PL carriers and manage their operations entirely
  • Deliver KPIs defined for destination service, including root cause analysis, solution design and implementation
  • Support Global Mile Operations Peak Readiness Plans, owning the carrier management component
  • Drive overall destination service strategy for Global Mile.
  • Manage internal support teams and build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations.
  • Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
  • Gather and analyze data to help drive business decisions

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
