The Role

The Production Technician is responsible for the manufacture and purification of protein

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Include

• To support (and lead where applicable)in the Production of products. .
• Ensuring batch record completion is performed in real time and accurate.
• Perform standard laboratory duties such as glassware cleaning
• Supporting production team members where necessary
• Preparation of buffers and reagents used within the production department.
• Calibration, service and maintenance of key laboratory equipment.
• Operation of key laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, incubators, rollers
• Compliance with BBI’s quality system requirements
• Completion of daily cleaning checks
• Responsible for completing and maintaining individual training records
• Adherence to all SOPs, PSBRs, EOPs, SMPs and relevant documents
• Adhering to all Health and Safety regulations
• In process testing of manufactured products if applicable.
• Meet daily production targets/ KPI’s
• Conducting stock checks for chemicals, cleaning products, and consumables and ordering materials as and when required
• Completion of workload within BBI’s quality system
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Understanding of accepted behaviour in audit situations
• Completion of annual personal objectives
  
  

You Should Apply If

• Experience working in a laboratory (desirable)
• Experience in GMP / ISO9001 / ISO13485 industry (Desirable)
• Good organisation skills
• Good standard of communication
• Strong work ethic
