Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Able to communicate the product vision and strategy. Ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs
• Backlog Management: Create, prioritise, and manage the product backlog. Ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of the tasks and goals
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to gather requirements and feedback
• Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with Product Management and Solution Manager to ensure product roadmap outlines the planned features and improvements. Communicate the roadmap to all relevant parties
• Agile Methodologies: Utilise agile methodologies to manage the product development process. Conduct regular sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Performance Metrics: Track key performance metrics to measure the success of the product. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the product development and launch
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the product meets high standards of quality and usability. Collaborate with QA teams to conduct testing and validation
  
  
  

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in solution architecture, software development, and cloud technologies
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively
• Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
• Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role. Experience in agile environments is preferred
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related field desired but not essential. Agile qualifications similarly
• Travel: This role may require occasional travel to meet with clients and stakeholders
