Description
- Who we’re looking for: An individual with deep expertise in finance transformation within a rapidly growing fintech scale-up
- The challenge: To define strategy, drive delivery and operationalize our Finance & Treasury function
- Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove office 2 days a week

Day to day this role will
- Accelerate the growth, scale and efficiency of the finance and treasury function through increased automation, improved accuracy, delivery of same-day payments & invoicing, etc.
- Take ownership of finance and treasury related capabilities including but not limited to
- General ledgers
- Billing and invoicing
- Automated reconciliation
- Financial reporting
- Banking, payments and FX
- Drive product research, discovery, delivery and feedback as well as roadmap prioritisation
- Be a key business partner to the CFO and the finance leadership team
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand operational needs and define new capabilities
- Collaborate with finance, engineering, operations & compliance to deliver new capabilities
- Work with Engineering to drive the backlog and work with internal and external suppliers
- Accelerate the onboarding of new finance partners (commercial, technical, operational)
- Proven experience delivering finance transformation within a rapidly growing fintech scale-up in a role spanning understanding of finance and treasury operating model, systems and data
- The ability to drive product research, discovery, delivery and feedback as well as roadmap prioritisation
- Strong stakeholder management & clear communication skills; ability to partner with Senior Leadership, Finance & Engineering teams
- Solid technical understanding to work with Engineering to drive the backlog and work with internal and external suppliers to deliver solutions
