Procurement Manager

This role is based in Chesterfield, you will be expected to attend the office three day per week.

Are you an experienced P2P professional with strong analytical skills? If so, we would love to hear from you. We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Procurement Excellence Team.

About The Role

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager – Procurement Excellence, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and value through self-serve Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

This includes increasing spend under contract and through catalogues, expanding the use of Ariba-enabled self-serve suppliers and virtual card payments, and supporting the documentation and management of sourcing and supply chain risks across the procurement function.

You’ll also:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance S2P efficiency and compliance
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Technology, Treasury, and Finance teams to promote best use of buying channels
  • Manage multiple projects (e.g., data/cyber risk, business continuity, procurement strategy)
  • Maintain procurement SharePoint/Intranet, and “How to Buy” resources
  • Provide relevant communications and training to promote efficiency inside and outside of Procurement
  • Promote value-adding reporting (e.g., enablement, purchasing card opportunities
  • Role model our business values and leadership behaviours

About You

  • Strong knowledge of Ariba Procurement and Payables
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement within a financial environment
  • Deep understanding of procurement systems, sourcing processes, and associated challenges
  • Track record of improving spend compliance and driving adoption of self-serve tools
  • Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent), with relevant professional experience in a related field.
