A Little More About The Process Operator Role…

Salary (inclusive of shift premium): £37,787.04 + annual bonus

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for day-to-day analysis and consequent actions aiming to improve process stability
  • Work with the team (Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Engineering) to ensure all products are produced to the defined specifications
  • Perform regular housekeeping activities to ensure longevity of equipment, including listening and performing visual checks so that any abnormal issues are detected and addressed and report equipment failure
  • Offload palettes, replenish raw materials, refill carriages, and minimise sources of waste during routine tasks

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant work experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Good understanding of computer systems such as SAP
  • Positive outlook with a can-do attitude
  • Approachable and able to work in a team or be self-motivated to work alone

It Would Be An Advantage If You Also Have

  • Quality testing and system experience
  • Operational excellence (continuous improvement – white belt training)
  • Experience of shift work including working nights and 12-hour shifts
  • NVQ level 2 Manufacturing Operations
  • FLT Counterbalance license
