Role Overview

As a Suited Tutor, you’ll deliver engaging 1:1 or online sessions tailored to your students’ learning goals. Whether preparing for exams, building foundational knowledge, or pushing for top grades, your role is to support learners through high-quality, interactive lessons that produce results.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver online lessons using Suited Tutor's video/white board platforms or
• Diagnose students' needs and tailor lesson plans accordingly
• Provide regular updates to parents/students on progress
• Attend optional (and fully sponsored) CPD training, team meetings, or contribute to shared resources
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and professional standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• A university degree in your subject area
• At least 5 year of teaching or tutoring experience (online preferred)
• Ability to use digital tools confidently (Zoom, interactive whiteboards)
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection principles

Desirable:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE, Masters or PhD (or in the process to complete them)
• Experience with special educational needs (SEND or SEMH)
• Familiarity with UK curriculum frameworks (KS2 to A-Level)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £25.00-£45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
