The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a housing or homelessness service, managing a caseload and supporting residents at risk of homelessness to achieve positive outcomes.
You will be confident in managing complex and sensitive situations, working constructively with tenants and landlords to sustain tenancies and prevent eviction. You will have experience of providing clear and accurate housing advice, understanding legal processes and using professional judgement to identify appropriate interventions.
Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build effective relationships with internal services and external partners.
