Description
We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic After School Club Supervisor to join our Pre-Prep and Junior School team. This is a wonderful opportunity to help provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment for pupils at the end of the school day, supporting their wellbeing, development and enjoyment while reflecting the School’s values, policies and safeguarding responsibilities.
This is a permanent part-time role, working 10 hours per week, term-time only
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising pupils attending the After School Club, ensuring their safety, welfare and good conduct at all times.
- Delivering a high-quality provision, maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children.
- Supporting pupils’ physical, emotional, social and intellectual development through appropriate activities.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health and safety within the club.
- Safely escort pupils where required and respond effectively to any issues or emergencies.
- Acting as a positive role model and communicate effectively with parents and carers at collection.
- Reporting any concerns or issues in line with school procedures.
- Promoting and reinforcing school policies, including safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities within a school setting.
- A calm, caring and positive approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with pupils and adults.
- Strong organisational skills with a reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Self-motivation, initiative and a flexible, positive attitude.
