About the role:
We are looking for a Portfolio Support Officer to join our Private Banking business unit. The Access Bank UK Ltd is dedicated to providing exceptional banking solutions to our high-net-worth clients. The Portfolio Support Officer’s role is to work within the Private Banking team in handling all aspects of client dealing in liaison with the Portfolio Management team – to include preparation of trades for client accounts, management of cash balances maintaining client model portfolios, and liaising directly with clients to assist with transactional and banking needs.
The role will report to the Portfolio Trade Execution Officer, and the incumbent of the role will work under their direct supervision in the Northwich office.
Key responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management – Support and work with senior Private Bankers as point of contact for key clients for payments and foreign exchange.
- Assist in monitoring all client portfolio positions relative to model portfolios. Advising Head of Execution on rebalancing trades required.
- Assist with execution of all client trades – initial investments; strategic; tactical changes. rebalancing, execution only trades.
- Assist in managing client cash balances.
- Production of documentation for Business Development – including loan facility requests, investment reports, new account forms.
- Execute FX deals with clients and the Treasury department.
- Developing a strong understanding of global financial markets, including their dynamics and key terminology.".
Person/Experience required:
- Experience: 1- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certification are desirable.
- Skills: Excellent understanding of financial products and services offered to high-net-worth clients and cultural awareness.
