PORTER - HEALTHCARE

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Various shifts 08:00 - 16:30

Location: Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, NR6 5BE.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, who can effectively handle manual tasks and prioritise their work.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Transport: Transporting patients throughout the hospital, ensuring response times and service standards are maintained.
  • Logistics & Delivery: Delivering essential items, including: Medical gas cylinders, equipment, & furniture, Pharmaceutical & pathology items, Blood samples & medication
  • Waste & Linen Management: Taking linen, case notes, and managing the removal and disposal of waste.
  • Job Management: Receiving, recording, and prioritising job requests in line with agreed procedures.
