As part of our Planning Team, you'll manage a varied caseload of planning applications, working closely with residents, developers, elected Members and colleagues across the Council to deliver positive planning outcomes.

Depending on your experience and career grade, you'll:
  • Manage a diverse caseload ranging from householder applications through to complex minor and straightforward major developments.
  • Assess planning applications and undertake site visits.

  • Strong analytical, written and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Our offer:
We offer a supportive environment to grow and develop your career with the opportunity to put your ideas across. Innovation and ambition are strongly encouraged, and you’ll get a great feel for that working in our friendly and collaborative environment.
