Hours



  • Full-Time: 35–40 hours per week

  • Part-Time: Approximately 20 hours per week

  • Fixed rota pattern

  • Shifts typically between 6–9 hours

  • At least one late shift until 9:00pm per week

  • Occasional weekend cover may be required for staff holidays or sickness


Pay



  • Competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications

  • Paid monthly on the 5th working day of each month

  • Holiday entitlement in line with UK statutory requirements


About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our growing independent family-run pharmacy team. Due to continued business growth and increasing prescription volumes, we are looking for an individual who is committed to delivering excellent patient care and supporting the development of our pharmacy services.


This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced pharmacy professionals and pharmacists while developing your skills across all aspects of community pharmacy.


Tasks

Key Tasks



  • Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

  • Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals

  • Supporting the delivery and promotion of NHS and private pharmacy services

  • Assisting with stock control and day-to-day pharmacy operations

  • Working independently and as part of a team

  • Maintaining high professional and regulatory standards

  • Participating in training and development opportunities


Requirements

Requirements



  • Previous pharmacy experience, or

  • Qualified NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser (or higher)

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

  • Probation period of 6–9 months applies.

  • Parking facilities available.
