Personal Assistant (PA) – Morning Support for a Child (Part-Time)
We are seeking a warm, reliable, and professional Personal Assistant to provide morning support for a child with autism and learning difficulties. This is a rewarding role supporting a young person to develop independence and confidence within their daily routine.
About the Child
The child is autistic, has learning difficulties, and is currently non-verbal, while continuing to learn new words every day. They are independently mobile and can walk unaided. They may find loud or overcrowded environments distressing and can sometimes experience difficulty when transitioning between places. A calm, patient, and understanding approach is essential.
Role Overview

• Provide morning support from 7:00am to 8:30am
• Support with morning routines and accompany Ciara to the school bus
• Support is required 1 to 3 mornings per week, depending on parental work schedules

Ideal Candidate

• Kind, patient, and empathetic, with a child-centred approach
• Able to provide consistent, calm support, particularly during transitions
• Reliable and punctual

Requirements

• Full DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full, clean driving licence
