Personal Assistant for a teenage boy 4hrs fortnightly @ £11.91/hr in Bedlington - #35214

Driver and access to car essential – must have business use.

Hours of work: 4hrs per fortnight

Rates of Pay: £11.91 per hour

Main Duties:

Enabling support required to help this young person access social activities in the local community. Client enjoys swimming so it is hoped worker is competent in water, visiting the cinema and attending Smile Through Sport on Wednesday’s which is between 5:30 and 6:30pm.

He also loves music, and the family are happy to look at ways to support activities that include/involve music.

It is also hoped that they can support independence and social skills including using public transport. He has no understanding of danger or road sense, which can make trips out for him challenging and he therefore needs close supervision to keep him safe.

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
