Job Purpose

Personal Assistant, Warwick (Hybrid) – £34,343 to £36,363 plus benefits

National Gas is the national gas transmission network. We transport gas throughout Great Britain, repair and maintain gas pipelines, and manage the meters that allow millions of homes and businesses to access the energy they need. Our purpose is to secure Britain’s energy.

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to up to four directors within a fast-paced, corporate environment.

This is a critical role requiring a confident individual who is accustomed to supporting senior stakeholders, managing complex priorities, and operating with a high degree of discretion. You will act as a trusted partner to the Directors, ensuring efficient coordination of business activities and enabling effective decision-making.

This is a full-time position, based in Warwick, with hybrid working (3 days minimum onsite).

About The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively managing multiple complex diaries to optimise Directors’ time and priorities
  • Coordinating extensive travel arrangements, including creating detailed itineraries
  • Supporting the onboarding of new starters, ensuring all systems, equipment, and access requirements are in place
  • Organising and coordinating meetings, including making room bookings and catering arrangements
  • Providing administrative support for team meetings,
  • Processing expenses, invoices, and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence and documentation for senior-level review
  • Supporting the preparation of presentations and key materials
  • Managing internal and external enquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Providing support on ad-hoc projects and assisting with PA team cover as required

About You

You are an experienced Personal Assistant with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders within a corporate environment. You bring a high level of professionalism, discretion, and organisational capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

You are confident working with senior stakeholders and demonstrate sound judgement, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a Personal Assistant, ideally supporting multiple senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrates exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is experienced in building effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Takes initiative and ownership of tasks, with a flexible and solutions-focused approach
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail under pressure
  • Experience using systems such as MySAP or Concur, or a willingness to learn
