Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Salary Grade: £41,593 + depending on experience

Location: Peterborough, UK

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced payroll professional eager to take charge of end-to-end payroll processing? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to manage our comprehensive payroll operations and services. If you are passionate about accuracy, compliance, and providing excellent employee support, and are excited to join an international payroll team covering EAME but based from Peterborough, we would love to hear from you!

What You Will Do

The role involves managing various aspects of payroll to ensure employees receive accurate and timely payments. You will be accountable for a wide range of payroll duties, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing while maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the payroll cycle, from data collection to disbursement

  • Creating and maintaining payroll reports and records

  • Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with regulations

  • Assisting in payroll audits

  • Enforcing internal payroll controls

  • Addressing employee payroll inquiries

  • Payroll Management: Knowledge of payroll policy and methods; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to manage employee payroll and benefits operations.

  • Payroll Administration: Knowledge of policies, operations and standards related to payroll; ability to establish, implement, and administer policies, procedures, and systems for confidentially calculating, preparing and distributing payrolls.

Not essential but desirable skills

  • Knowledge of Germany or Slovak payroll processes and relevant legislation.

  • Additional language skills are a plus.
