The Role

As a Vehicle Paint Technician, you’ll play a key part in returning vehicles to their pre-accident condition with flawless, manufacturer-standard finishes. From preparation to final coat, your work will reflect the highest standards of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking)
  • Accurately mix and colour-match paints using advanced systems
  • Apply coatings using spray guns and maintain spray booths
  • Carry out final quality checks to ensure paintwork meets top standards
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to meet repair deadlines
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workspace

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Paint Technician or Prepper in an automotive bodyshop
  • Expertise in modern paint systems, materials, and application techniques
  • Confident in colour matching and blending
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ATA/SVQ Level 3 qualification (preferred – training support available)
