Reporting into the PM Supervisor, the core purpose of this role is to support with the smooth running of the Order Prep shift whilst always prioritising safety.

You will

  • Support in managing the Health, Safety and Well Being of all operatives on shift and support in site wide EHS objectives
  • Support in ensuring customer orders are picked in an efficient, accurate and timely fashion
  • Communicate and collaborate with Stock Control, Flows, Planning and Customer Care with any work-related issues
  • Check all equipment and workload is appropriate for the shift
  • Provide regular liaison between the team and the shift Supervisor
  • Monitor waiting stocks and replenish when necessary
  • Holding team briefings when required
  • Supporting the shift supervisor with any people queries, handling all situations discretely and professionally
  • Ad-hoc requirements as deemed by line manager, including project work and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Step up as Supervisor to provide cover when required

You have

  • Experience within order preparation and eCom picking & packing is essential, with proof of good attendance, attitude and performance
  • The ability to problem solve and to demonstrate a logical approach to tasks
  • A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours in order to meet the needs of the business
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to constantly prioritise work
  • Attention to detail with high quality standards and excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with working autonomously and with high levels of initiative
  • Basic experience with Excel and Outlook
