We’re looking for an experienced and community-focused Operations Support Manager to play a central role in supporting the delivery of our parking enforcement operations across Barnet.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role focused on driving operational excellence, ensuring contractual compliance, and supporting our frontline teams to deliver safer neighbourhoods.
As Operations Support Manager, you’ll be supporting the Assistant Contract Manager in ensuring KPIs, service levels and contractual requirements are consistently achieved. You’ll act as a vital link between on-street enforcement, office functions and client stakeholders and use insight, data and strong leadership to consistently improve performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Assistant Contract Manager in the smooth and compliant delivery of the contract
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of Supervisors
- Managing employee relations, performance, absence and disciplinary processes
- Monitoring KPIs and service delivery standards, identifying trends and implementing remedial action
- Producing performance reports and analysing operational data to drive improvement
- Managing deployment of resources to ensure contractual coverage and effectiveness
- Monitoring budgets and controlling operational spend (payroll, uniform, supplies, etc.)
- Ensuring health & safety and quality standards are maintained in line with contractual and ISO requirements
- Identifying opportunities for service improvement and business development within the contract
- Working closely with residents, local businesses, councillors and the Metropolitan Police to support safer neighbourhood initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 12 months’ recent management experience at Team Manager level (or equivalent) managing Supervisors or similar roles
- Strong people-management skills
- Experience handling performance management and disciplinary processes
- Proven experience monitoring KPIs and producing reports
- Ability to collect, interpret and analyse data to inform decision-making
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to management level
- Experience in a client-facing environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Full, clean UK driving licence
