An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated Operating Department Practitioner/ Anaesthetic Nurse to join the team in National Treatment Centre Fife Orthopaedics, Victoria Hospital.
This is a purpose-built unit based within the grounds of the Victoria Hospital consisting of 3 Theatres and a 7 bedded recovery area along with an Orthopaedic ward and associated outpatient services. This has created exciting opportunities for staff development.
The successful candidate may be required to work across Victoria and Queen Margaret Hospitals as required covering out of hours commitments should the service require.
Primary duties will be anaesthetics but must be flexible in outlook and be willing to work in other areas i.e. Recovery or Scrub Duties.
Hours will be worked to meet the needs of the service which will include working alternate Saturdays
You should hold Diploma in ODP NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds 752 or 1st level nurse with a relevant / current anaesthetic certificate.
You must be a member of the Health Profession Council or be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
