An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the multidisciplinary team within the operating departments of NHS Tayside. The successful applicant may be based on one site but there is an expectation for the post holder to be deployed as required.
You will play an important part in the patient’s journey, working within the operating department and assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) & Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) in the care and treatment of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Health care experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for this post.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
