At Good Growth we help organisations unlock growth by combining customer insight, experimentation and technology to deliver high‑impact change quickly.
Behind the scenes, great work depends on great teams — and the environments that support them.
We’re looking for an Office Manager to join our People Team, helping ensure our Exeter office is a welcoming, organised and productive place to work.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating positive environments, helping people and making things run smoothly. You’ll play an important part in shaping the day‑to‑day employee experience — supporting colleagues, coordinating events and ensuring the practical operations of the office work seamlessly.
While the Exeter office will be your main focus, you’ll also support the wider Good Growth team across our hybrid workforce, working closely with colleagues in Birmingham and remotely across the business.
You’ll have real ownership of the Exeter office environment, helping shape a space that supports collaboration, productivity and a strong team culture.
Why this role matters
Good Growth is a remote‑first company, but our offices play an important role in bringing people together.
You’ll help ensure the Exeter office is somewhere people enjoy spending time — whether they’re working from the office regularly, visiting for collaboration or joining the business as a new starter.
You’ll often be one of the first people colleagues interact with when they come into the office, so the role plays an important part in bringing our culture and values to life day‑to‑day.
Working as part of the People Team, you’ll help bring our culture to life by supporting new starters, coordinating internal events, assisting recruitment processes and making sure the workplace runs smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Keeping the Exeter office organised, welcoming and running smoothly
Supporting facilities and workplace operations, including health & safety checks and office improvements
Managing suppliers, office supplies, equipment and budgets
Helping new starters get set up with laptops, systems and software
Acting as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day IT support and basic troubleshooting
Helping onboard employees into internal systems and tools
Coordinating with external IT providers where needed
Helping onboard new starters and supporting offboarding processes
Coordinating interview logistics and supporting recruitment activity
Supporting internal events, socials and company gatherings
Helping organise birthday celebrations, team lunches and company traditions
Supporting company away days and wider team events
Supporting the People Team with operational tasks such as employee surveys, HR systems and training logistics
A typical week might include
Preparing laptops, systems access and workspace setup for new starters
Helping a colleague get access to a system or troubleshoot a quick tech issue
Coordinating interview logistics for a hiring manager
Organising a team lunch or helping plan an office event
Meeting with suppliers to keep the office running smoothly
Supporting a People Team initiative such as an employee survey or training session
Making sure the office environment remains welcoming, organised and well stocked
You’ll Enjoy This Role If You
Like helping people and creating positive environments
Enjoy organising things and making processes run smoothly
Take pride in solving practical problems
Enjoy working with people across different teams
Like being the person who helps make things happen
This Role Might Not Be Right If
You prefer working fully remotely
You prefer highly structured or repetitive work
You don’t enjoy being the go‑to person for everyday questions and problem solving
About You
Essential
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Friendly and confident communication style
Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Comfortable helping colleagues get set up with systems, software and workplace technology
A proactive, problem‑solving mindset
Nice to have
Experience in an Office Manager, Workplace Coordinator or Operations role
