The Opportunity

As our Office Administrator, you will be the backbone of our regional office function. You’ll join a collaborative team tasked with delivering essential administrative duties across the business. This is a varied role where you will manage everything from financial data processing to operational support, all while ensuring maximum efficiency.

Your day-to-day duties will span multiple core functions of the business, including:

  • Managing purchasing administration and processing Goods Received Notes (GRN).

  • Assisting with timekeeping and payroll data entry to ensure accurate and timely processing.

  • Providing essential administrative backing for contract management and work-winning (bidding) initiatives.

  • Supporting our haulage and workshop functions to keep our fleet and operations moving smoothly.

  • Acting as a professional point of contact, liaising regularly with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Actively looking for ways to streamline administrative processes and boost office efficiency.

To excel in this role, you should bring a mix of strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset as well as a proactive approach.

  • Proven experience in a varied administrative or office support role (experience in construction, logistics, or engineering sectors is a plus but not essential).

  • Strong numerical skills (for GRN and payroll processing) and proficiency in standard office software (Excel, Word, etc.).

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships with both internal staff and external clients.

  • A proactive problem-solver who embraces change and is always striving for continuous improvement.

  • A reliable team player who is equally comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.
