About Our Nursery

Our beautiful Gateshead Low Fellhas nursery has an Ofsted rating of Good, and has a capacity of 108. Open for 13 years, our experienced team are passionate about giving our children the best start in life. Bus service linking to city centre Newcastle and close links to A1 and Durham, just a 2-minute walk from the nearest stop, a 5-minute walk from the Low Fell town centre, and located on a main road with great transport links.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the role of Key Person, fostering b partnerships with children and their families.
• Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
  
  

You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
