New Trustees required for charity working across Hertfordshire supporting and helping people in the grip of alcohol or drug misuse or who are homeless

Time commitment We have 6 board meetings per year which Trustees are expected to attend either in person or remotely, having devoted sufficient time to read through the board papers in advance. Trustees are also expected to take the lead on specific projects and be members of sub committees. These are arranged and scheduled around Trustees’ availability.

What are we looking for?

To broaden our skills base we are currently looking to recruit new Trustees with experience in finance, training, law and housing among other skills and experience too.

Prospective candidates will need to

• Have empathy with the work of Resolve
• Be able to devote the necessary time and effort
• Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Have good judgement
• Be able to work as a team
• Have the ability, commitment and drive to take the organisation forward

We are entering an exciting period of growth, with a refreshed brand and website, and a passionate team driving innovation across our services. We have a new strategic plan which looks to expand services, guided by our values of Trust, Passion, Partnership and Respect, in order to reach and help more people.

Our aim is to help individuals move towards stability and independence, building safe, positive and sustainable lives.

Our work is life changing, sometimes life saving, and we're after new Trustees to help us continue this vital work.

We are now searching for Trustees from a wide range of backgrounds, skills and experience who can support our team in realising this vision.
