How you will make an impact
As an Account Executive with a focus on new business, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth within our Spalding branch. By identifying and securing new client opportunities, within the farming, haulage, and commercial combined sectors, you’ll help expand our client base while ensuring continued excellence in service delivery. Your proactive approach and consultative mindset will support both business acquisition and client retention, helping us maintain our status as a trusted regional insurance provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities within the farming, haulage, and commercial combined sectors.
- Manage a developed client base providing a solid platform for new business generation.
- Deliver exceptional service to a mixed portfolio of rural and SME commercial clients.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, providing tailored insurance solutions.
- Work closely with internal handler support to ensure efficient client service delivery.
- Meet and exceed clear new business targets in the first two years.
- Represent Clear Group with professionalism and integrity in all client interactions
About You

Candidates must meet the essential criteria through relevant experience or demonstrated transferable skills. However, desirable attributes, skills, and qualifications will be considered a strong advantage.
Essential
- Experience as a Commercial Account Executive in a client-facing insurance role, with an emphasis on new business.
- Strong knowledge of commercial combined insurance products.
- Demonstrated success in new business generation (“hunter” mentality).
- Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Full driving licence and access to a car for client visits.
Desirable
- Experience in agricultural or rural insurance.
- Familiarity with clients in farming, haulage, or similar sectors.
- Strong local or regional market knowledge (East Midlands, Lincolnshire).
