Network Engineer - #147360

Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.

We are currently seeking a Network Engineer, to join our Network Practice; within one of our Hospitality clients. This is a hybrid position but you will be required to attend the office up to 2 days a week, based in the Dunstable.

What you'll be doing:

• Site migrations Tues to Thurs, supporting the team on them remotely mainly
• Working with the Opticore NOC team as we monitor the outlets for the client
• Support rota for L3- escalation, high level monitoring, SNOW, incident response, attending CAB calls,
• Support escalations, handling issues and incidents coming from the NOC or other groups in the business
• Supporting third-party site migrations remotely usually looking at issues with ClearPass, Aruba Central switch templates, Aruba IAP issues
• Helping plan changes in, from upgrades to more complex changes, such as reclasifying traffic acros the SD-WAN fabric
• Firewall upgrade to replace Meraki out of band
• Currently a 3rd party access to CPPM, via Axais Communications
• Roll out, giving support and assistant to the 3rd parties swapping out the old MPLS kit and putting in Aruba edge connect and Aruba central
