Job Description
The primary purpose is to support the Deputy Estates Manager (Space) on the management of the space for the Naval Base under the Hard Facilities Management (FM) function. This includes:
Deal with day-to-day case work to contribute to delivery of property solutions and estate management.
Ensure the effective use of MOD estate to enable business outputs to be achieved effectively.
Contribute to the management of the Level 2 Asset Register.
Acquisition, development, effective use and disposal of land, property, equipment, space and accommodation within the HMNB(Devonport) portfolio.
Operational and Tactical Space Management - manage the operational and tactical use of space within the estate, working with Babcock to ensure optimal use of space on the Devonport site.
Ensure that appropriate lease and licensing arrangements are in place and that the Estate Directory is maintained to provide an accurate record of building use.
Strategic space management – unlock conflicting strategic space requirements as directed.
