About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join our local team in Gillingham you will work alongside Medway City Council working on our planned works contract.
As a bathroom fitter you will be responsible for a range of tasks that ensure the successful installation and maintenance of bathroom fixtures and equipment. Your duties will include removing old units, accurately measuring spaces, and planning the layout according to design specifications. You will install new fixtures such as showers, baths, sinks, and toilets, and handle plumbing tasks like connecting water, sewage, additionally you will also lay tiles on walls and floors, ensuring the bathroom's aesthetic appeal. And you must ensure all installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations. You will also be painting, decorating, and ensuring proper ventilation.
Role Criteria
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.

Role Criteria
- Previous experience fitting bathrooms.
- Previous Experience with plastering including whole walls/ceilings.
- All aspects of Plumbing, Carpentry, Tiling, Poly safe Vinyl flooring and Decorating
- UK Full driving licence
- Provide hand tools.
- IT literate
