We are looking to offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Podiatrist with excellent muscokeletal / biomechanics knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will have a predominantly MSK focused caseload. working within community Podiatry CMATS, with Orthotists and opportunities within Orthopaedics.
We actively support agreed and relevant development both financially and with time released.
Main duties of the job
Working with complex foot and ankle MSK Podiatry cases, within the Podiatry department, CMATS team and with orthopaedics.
Assisting the head of service with operational and strategical development aspects of the MSK Podiatry service.
To mentor and develop junior members of the MSK team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

To be part of a highly motivated team, working independently in both community and acute settings, delivering highly specialist seamless podiatric care to individuals and groups; supporting management of complex cases and promoting empowerment of individuals to self manage their conditions.
To be Team Leader for specialist musco-skeletal Podaitry; to clinically support the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice, acting as a source of expertise. You will be expected to demonstrate specialist knowledge and a high level of personal skill and be responsible for the training, supervision and performance assessment of staff. You will need a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to demonstrate evidence-based practice.
