We require a skilled Mobile Plant Maintenance Fitter, to join our team working as a key maintenance team member, you will carry out reactive, predictive and planned maintenance on our fixed and mobile plant.

We require a skilled Mobile Plant Maintenance Fitter, to join our team working as a key maintenance team member, you will carry out reactive, predictive and planned maintenance on our fixed and mobile plant.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide proactive maintenance support across designated sites, ensuring minimal downtime through planned and reactive maintenance.
- Promote a strong Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental culture.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and support long-term improvements.
- Maintain critical spare parts and update all work on the CMMS system.
- Complete all PPM tasks and follow up on remedial work.
- Collaborate closely with the team on plant maintenance and condition monitoring.
- Share learnings to boost performance across the business and attend necessary training to stay compliant.
- Driving licence is essential; Van will be provided to travel to sites
- Time-served, mechanically biased apprenticeship (minimum NVQ Level 3).
- Extensive maintenance experience in heavy engineering and mobile plant, including earth-moving equipment.
- Skilled in fault-finding and repair of excavators, loading shovels, forklifts, skid steers, shears, balers and cranes
- Strong background in mobile plant fitting and remote equipment maintenance.
- High-level expertise in hydraulic systems; electrical diagnostics desirable.
- Understanding of plant operation, maintenance practices, and electrical safety.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification is desirable.
- Proven ability to work independently in a mobile role, with flexibility to travel between sites as required
- Having your own tools is desirable
